Endress+Hauser Flowtec AG has expanded and modernized two additional floors of its existing building. The newly designed workspaces were carefully developed to meet current spatial requirements and follow a clear architectural concept that combines functionality, contemporary design, transparency, and spatial quality.
At the core of the new interior design is the flexible KUBUS II room-in-room system. Featuring double-glazed walls for superior sound insulation, the system allows for the construction of both individual rooms and multiple adjoining units. Its flexibility is also evident in the integration of building services: the mechanical ventilation was incorporated into the roof structure to ensure optimal air supply and climate control. With KUBUS II, highly soundproofed retreat areas for focused work have been created within the open-plan office space.
Another highlight is the System 2000 partition wall, installed up to a height of 4 meters with a construction depth of 125 mm to visually match the room systems. It conveys a sense of spaciousness and transparency while maintaining acoustic effectiveness. The clean lines of the glass elements are complemented by AR100 aluminum frame doors, flush-mounted on both sides, which blend harmoniously into the overall design with understated elegance.
The result is a work environment that equally meets modern demands for communication, concentration, and comfort—executed with technical precision and architectural sophistication. Thanks to the modular design of both the partition wall and room-in-room systems, flexible use remains possible in the future.
