Association of German Architects (BDA)

The Association of German Architects (BDA) was founded in 1903 as a network of freelance architects, with the aim of elevating architectural projects and content against the backdrop of the ever-decreasing quality of the built environment. Today, the BDA comprises around 5,000 independent architects and urban planners distinguished by the exceptional quality of their work, their personal integrity and their shared commitment to building culture and professional performance – all of which are prerequisites of being members of the association.

The TEAMBOX TB.2 has been installed in the central area of the BDA’s national headquarters in Berlin, providing a calm space for up to four members to hold meetings, join video conferences, make phone calls or focus on their work without distractions. The slick and minimalist design of the TEAMBOX by Strähle integrates seamlessly into the office’s industrial feel. The flush-fit glazing produces a transparent and soundproofed island, while the incorporated curtain adds privacy where needed. The infinitely adjustable ventilation and lighting create the perfect conditions whatever the scenario.
