Ernst Reuter Platz, Berlin

The offices of communications agency CB.e are located in the former German headquarters of IBM on Ernst-Reuter-Platz – an office block designed by Rolf Gutbrod, Hermann Kiess and Bernhard Binder in 1961 which was a pioneering administrative building in its original state, and is now a protected monument. CB.e is the first tenant opting to rent offices in this listed building following its partial modernization. The concept and design stem largely from the project owner, CB.e. Shelving walls in combination with the frameless 3400 glass partition wall system form the basic structuring elements of the rooms. These create numerous and diverse perspectives and visual links while at the same time providing necessary scope for privacy and for storage space.
