Linde Aschaffenburg

Linde Hydraulics operates worldwide as a developer and provider of modular hydraulic, electrotechnical and electronic drive systems. 800 employees at the Aschaffenburg works have been given a new production building and an administrative building for 200 members of staff. The three-storey building adjoins the production buildings. It has a construction grid which allows flexible alteration of the layout. Both open and closed office spaces are possible.

The smallest unit is the office for one person, which can be extended as desired. The offices are located towards the façade, whilst the conference rooms, the think tanks, the kitchenettes, the building technology and the photocopying areas are located in the middle zones. Wood with its living grain provides a contrast to the many exposed concrete surfaces. Partition wall System 2300 with its all-glass appearance provides high sound insulation in the office section, combining a pleasant working atmosphere with communication transparency.

Solid doors with a wood look provide a contrast to the cool appearance of the concrete surfaces. The grain was chosen for its similarity to the maritime pine plywood crates which Linde uses to dispatch its products.
